Roro Jonggrang

This is the series of 2009 calendar for Computer Graphic 1 class group task. We learn illustrator CS3. The illustrations are about Indonesian folklores (but with little bit addittion in every detail, some exageration every where)
These are stories that i love very much!

Roro Jonggrang story plot is little bit similar with Sangkuriang. She was a beautiful princess. Her name means The Slim Lady. A lot of prince came from abroad just want to see her beauty and become her husband. So, she made a contest, that whoever could make 1000 statue in one night can be marrying her. But, Roro Jonggrang surprised when a half-giant accepted for her task. So, she made a trick by wakening the rooster for it gobbling like morning had come. The Giant came angry and cursed Roro Jonggrang become the 1000th statue.
